[Forest Lake Times, November 11, 2010] Smiles come easily and often for Lynn Rydberg. So does a robust laugh.

Keeping a positive attitude is important for someone like Rydberg, a registered nurse. For the past 24 years she has developed the skills that allow her to flow seamlessly between two worlds — the world of an OB nurse at Unity Hospital in Fridley and a flight nurse with the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

Smiles and a good-natured laugh can be beneficial work tools when dealing with parents and a new arrival, or a soldier wounded in battle and in need of medical care. Wearing two hats can be a challenge, but the 56-year-old Forest Lake woman has adapted well to the two worlds.
