Dog Saves Life, Becomes 'Murphy, the Miracle-maker'

[KARE 11 News, November 18, 2010] Murphy, a 2-and-a-half-year-old Newfoundland, helped save his 95-year-old neighbor. On Wednesday morning, Stephanie Goese noticed her usually quiet dog would not stop barking. Murphy’s persistence eventually led Stephanie to find her 95-year-old neighbor lying in her open garage in the chilling cold. Stephanie, a nurse at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, checked the woman out and determined she was fine. That woman -- and her family -- asked not to be named, but they say they're grateful to Murphy for his help. Watch the full story below and read more on kare11.com.
