Allina provides electronic medical records for Lakeview Health

[Stillwater Gazette, June 17, 2010] Lakeview Health recently implemented "Excellian," electronic medical record (EMR) technology, at all of the Stillwater Medical Group locations. This fully secure system will also be in place at Lakeview Hospital in 2011.

Lakeview Health purchased Excellian from Allina Health System, which is installing and supporting the technology. Its system is one of the most comprehensive systems in the country, and has been used as a model for many other healthcare systems. If patients are referred to Allina Health System for advanced care, for example United Hospital, Allina physicians will use and update the same patient medical record that Lakeview Health has.
