Abbott Outpatient expansion set

[Finance & Commerce, April 23, 2010] Abbott Northwestern Center for Outpatient Care has hired St. Louis Park-based RJM Construction to take on a $1.5 million expansion and remodeling project for the medical facility.

The construction project will include 16 new exam rooms as part of the Edina center’s 4,700-square-foot expansion and a 1,400-square-foot remodeling of the facility’s main floor imaging center. Ross Gustafson, Abbott Northwestern director of ambulatory operations, said Friday the project will enable the hospital to accommodate its growing internal medicine practice.
