Abbott Northwestern Hospital offers just that in the largest integrative medicine program in a hospital in the country.
And now it's researchers have published a first-of-its-kind study in the Journal of Patient Safety showing non-traditional therapies actually significantly reduce pain.
Just ask 30-year-old Keilee Miller of Richfield. She's been living at the hospital for three weeks so far, waiting for a heart transplant.
