Hospital design factors in space concerns

[Owatonna People's Press, October 01, 2009] When it comes to providing services to an emergency room patient, space is a primary concern. “It’s not unusual for us to have between five to eight people caring for one patient,” said Anne Draeger, RN, and manager of emergency services for Owatonna Hospital. Medical professionals from the emergency staff at Owatonna Hospital participated in an open house at the new location Wednesday night, and as they toured the facility, that concern was put to rest.
