Minnesota Preps for Seasonal Flu, H1N1

[KMSP-TV & KSTP-TV, August 26, 2009] Minnesota health officials say they are ready to take on a difficult flu season , including seasonal flu and H1N1 flu, but they don't know how bad it will be. State health officials said flu cases will depend on how well the vaccine for ordinary seasonal flu matches the strain that emerges this fall and winter. Allina Medical Clinic Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bruce McCarthy says Allina will be ready for any version of the flu.
