Healing Harmonies Soothes Patients

[Blaine-Spring Lake Park Life, August 05, 2009] Walk through the corridors of Mercy or Unity hospital and you might catch the sweet, calming strains of flute or harp music softening the sounds and chatter of the daily bustle. About 60 musicians volunteer their time to play in Healing Harmonies. The program at the hospitals in Fridley and Coon Rapids, Minnesota not only benefits patients. It also helps their families, visitors and hospital staff.
