Buffalo Woman Recovers from Torn Aorta at MHI

[KMSP-TV, August 09, 2009] A woman from Buffalo, Minnesota is getting a second chance at life after suffering a potentially fatal heart condition. Bonnie Berger, 56, was diagnosed with a tear in her aorta -- the same condition that claimed the life of actor John Ritter. Berger's family actually said their goodbyes, but thanks to technology and the quick thinking of her family and a team of doctors, she's now resting comfortable at home.
