Allina Health’s River Falls Area Hospital receives High Performing Ranking in hip fracture category

Minneapolis, MN (July 26, 2022) - Allina Health’s River Falls Area Hospital received its first U.S. News & World Report national recognition with a high performing grade in hip fracture from the just release U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings. Allina Health’s Regina Hospital also joined River Falls Area Hospital in receiving this high performing grade in hip fracture for the first time.

“It’s a remarkable honor to have both the hospitals I represent, River Falls Area Hospital and Regina Hospital, recognized by the new U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings for their high performance in the hip fracture care,” said Helen Strike, president of River Falls Area Hospital and Regina Hospital. “I am very proud of our talented care teams’ commitment to provide whole person care to each and every patient.”

Allina Health’s Abbott Northwestern, United and Mercy hospitals were ranked first, fourth (tie) and sixth, respectively, in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area in the new U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Hospitals rankings released today. Abbott Northwestern was ranked first in the Twin Cities and second in all of Minnesota for the tenth consecutive year.

Allina Health’s United Hospital in St. Paul also received high performing grades in in 11 adult procedures and conditions this year: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, lung cancer surgery, prostate cancer surgery and stroke.
