MINNEAPOLIS (May 21, 2019) — Allina Health is pleased to announce that Helen Strike will become the President of Regina Hospital and River Falls Area Hospital effective June 1. Helen is well known to many in Allina Health, having served as President of Unity Hospital from 2013 through 2016.

"I have known Helen a long time and I can’t think of a better leader for this role," said Mike McMahan, Allina Health Chief Integration Officer. "Her background as a registered nurse, her experience as a leader, combined with her knowledge of Allina Health and her embrace of forward-looking tools and processes make her the ideal leader to ensure River Falls and Regina continue to serve their communities with outstanding care."

In addition to her time as President of Unity Hospital, Strike has also held positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville and Regions Hospital in St. Paul. She has also done consulting work for Navigant Consulting and, most recently, Press Ganey.

"I look forward to returning to Allina and the opportunity to serve the communities of Hastings and River Falls," said Strike. "When presented the chance to rejoin the Allina Health team, I was excited by all of the possibilities! Allina Health's commitment to Whole Person Care is the embodiment of what I believe health care should be all about and I am proud to be part of that again."
