Allina Health Regina Hospital welcomes first baby of the New Year

HASTINGS, Minn. 1/2/2017 — The first baby of 2017 born at Regina Hospital made his appearance at 6:03 p.m. on January 1, 2017.

David Benjamin Marshall, weighing 8 lbs 1.4 oz and measuring 20.75 inches long, was born in the Birth Center to proud parents Kassey and Aaron Marshall of Prescott. Eleven year-old big brother Carter Perry was also delighted to meet his new family member. 

Nurses presented the family with a gift basket in celebration of having the first newborn of the New Year. Congratulations to the Marshall family from everyone at Regina Hospital!
