Megan Nelson (PGY2) is from Elk River, Minn. She received her doctorate of pharmacy and master’s in
business administration from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2017. Nelson
completed her PGY1 at Mercy Hospital in 2018. While in school she had the
opportunity to gain pharmacy experience in the long-term care and outpatient
settings as a pharmacy intern. Nelson also served as a teaching assistant for
Drake University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her clinical
interests include administration, mental health, cardiology and pediatrics. In
her free time Nelson enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies and baking.
(PGY1) is from Crosby, Minn. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology in
2014 and her PharmD degree in 2018, both from the University of Minnesota, Twin
Cities Campus. Gutzman worked for Target Pharmacy for four years and for
Fairview Southdale Hospital as an inpatient intern for three years. Her
clinical interests include cardiology, infectious disease and internal
medicine. In her free time, Gutzman enjoys reading, traveling and spending time
with her friends and family.
(PGY1) is from Montevideo, Minn. She received her bachelor of science in
biology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2014, and went on to
receive her PharmD degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in May 2018.
Richard started her pharmacy career at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Montevideo
during her high school years. Throughout her undergraduate career, she was
employed by the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology at the
University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, she worked
as a pharmacy intern at Genoa Healthcare, a quality of life cCompany. Her
clinical interests include behavioral health, emergency medicine and oncology.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities and spending time her
with fiancé and two cats.
(PGY1) is from Green Bay, Wisc. She received her bachelor of arts in biology,
society and environment from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2014,
and went on to receive her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of
Minnesota, Duluth in May 2018. Kissel started her pharmacy career at Target
Pharmacy working as a technician while completing her undergraduate coursework.
During pharmacy school, she worked as a pharmacy intern at Thrifty White
Long-Term Care and Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center. Her clinical
interests include critical care, internal medicine, cardiology and transitions
of care. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and

degree in 2015 from the Martin-Luther University, Halle. In 2016 she moved to
Coon Rapids, Minn., where she obtained her pharmacist license in 2017. Stock
worked as a retail pharmacist in Germany and as an inpatient intern and casual
pharmacist at Mercy Hospital on both Mercy and Unity campuses. Her clinical
interests include oncology and geriatrics. In her free time, Stock enjoys muskie
fishing, gardening and traveling the world.
