Mercy & Unity Pharmacy Residency Program

  • Mercy Hospital, located just north of Minneapolis, is one hospital on two campuses. With this model, we are able to offer unique PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs in community-based hospital settings.

We strive to provide a challenging and fulfilling year for you, and we have the flexibility to tailor our program to fit your needs. For this reason, the resident plays a critical role in designing the year.

Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency programs build on Pharm.D. education and outcomes to contribute to the development of a clinical pharmacist responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
