Since its inception in 1962, hospital auxiliary volunteers have been united by their commitment to giving back to the River Falls community through service to the hospital.
The River Falls Area Hospital Auxiliary raises funds by running the hospital's gift kiosk, the Butterfly Boutique, and through other fundraising activities, including salad luncheons, book sales and pie sales.
Members of the group also take on service projects for the hospital, like knitting caps for newborn babies; sewing hats, port pillows and journal covers for cancer patients; and decorating the hospital for the holidays.
In addition to its financial support of the hospital, the auxiliary group is proud to award scholarships to local high school students planning to pursue a career in health care.
When you join the auxiliary, you join a dynamic group of individuals from all walks of life. Our membership includes retirees, homemakers, business professionals and others - people like you - who want to share their time and talent for the benefit of our hospital, its patients, and the broader community.
Membership dues are $10 per year for active members and $25 per year for supporting members. Active members commit to working at and/or donating food for the salad luncheons and other fundraising activities. Supporting members are those who are unable to participate but would like to identify with and show support for the group.
If you would like to know more about the auxiliary group, or to attend a meeting as our guest, please contact us at 715-307-6012 or
Membership meetings are held at the hospital four times each year, with a guest speaker at 10 a.m. followed by a brief business meeting. Lunch is available after each membership meeting for an additional charge of $6.
