New Ulm Medical Center provides inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment tailored to the needs of the individual. We're dedicated to improving our patients' quality of life by providing the support and tools needed for successful recovery.
Our outpatient mental health department provides psychological and psychiatric assessments, individual and family therapy, psychological testing, management of psychiatric medications, and home-based mental health services. These services are available to children, adolescents and adults.

In addition to assessing chemical dependency, the addiction services department provides residential and outpatient treatment and is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Adolescents and adults are served by this department.

Our nurses help patients deal with physical discomfort while experiencing withdrawal from alcohol, cocaine, narcotics or other drugs.
