Save the date for the 2018 Crystal Ball, Saturday,
April 28, 2018 at the Minneapolis Marriot NW. This premiere North Metro event features dinner, program, and live and silent auction. The 2018 proceeds will benefit Mercy operating room renovations.
The Crystal Ball on Saturday April 22, 2017, was a huge success, raising more than $483,000 to benefit the Mercy Intensive Care Unit remodel. Of the total, more than $141,000 will be used to fund the Forensic Nurse Examiner program at Mercy Hospital's Unity Campus. Thank you to our generous sponsors, auction donors, guests, and event volunteers who made this event so memorable.
The 2016 Crystal Ball continued the great history of supporting the health and wellness initiatives and programs that directly impact our north metro communities. The event raised more than $486,000 to benefit the mental health and addiction services consolidation at Unity Hospital. More than 550 attendees and 30 amazing volunteers helped make this evening successful and memorable.
The 2015 Crystal Ball was a magical evening filled with heartfelt connection to Mercy and Unity hospital's mission, celebration and generosity. The gala raised more than $342,000, which included $60,000 for Fund-A-Need. The proceeds supported The Mother Baby Center at Mercy with Children's, as well as comprehensive care and facility enhancements at both Mercy and Unity hospitals. The Fund-A-Need donations supported oncology patient emergency funds.
Proceeds from the 2014 Crystal Ball supported comprehensive programs and services as well as facility and equipment enhancements at both Mercy and Unity hospitals. The Fund-A-Need donations supported Anoka County being designated as a Heart Safe County in effort to prevent death from sudden cardiac arrest in our communities.
The 2013 Crystal Ball was a smashing success and raised more than $290,000 for the birth centers at Mercy and Unity hospitals. In addition, Fund-a-Need raised $30,000 for community health initiatives including high school health screenings.
The 2012 Crystal Ball on April 21 at the Northland Inn raised more than $288,000. This included more than $43,000 for Fund-a-Need, the cancer patient emergency fund, as well as funds supporting these services:
