    Mozzarella and tomato skewers Gluten Free Low Sodium

    This tasty appetizer may help prevent you from overeating. It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to tell your stomach it’s full ― perfect timing as you mindfully start eating your main meal!

      Ingredients

      24 cherry tomatoes
      24 medium fresh oregano leaves
      24 cherry-size balls mozzarella cheese (about 1/2 ounce each)
      2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
      ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

      You will also need:
      24 toothpicks

      Directions

      1. On each toothpick, place a cherry tomato, oregano leaf and mozzarella ball. Arrange on a serving plate or tray.
      2. Drizzle assembled skewers with olive oil, then sprinkle with black pepper.
      3. Serve immediately.
