    Mushroom sauté Gluten Free Low Sodium

    Mushrooms contain B vitamins, which are important for a healthy immune system.


    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
    1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 teaspoon minced fresh basil
    1 1/2 pounds crimini (button) mushrooms, sliced


    1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Stir in vinegar, garlic, basil and mushrooms. Sauté for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
    2. Serve warm.

    Makes 4 servings

    When washing mushrooms, gently rinse under cool water and use a soft brush or your fingers to remove the dirt.
