    Adding seltzer or mineral water to the apple juice is a healthful way to enjoy more of this flavorful beverage without the adding sugar and calories.

    Ingredients

    2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
    1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
    8 cups unsweetened apple juice
    8 cups seltzer or mineral water

    Directions

    1. Place cinnamon and nutmeg in the middle of a coffee filter. (You can also use several layers of cheese cloth.) Gather up sides of filter and tie tightly with kitchen string.
    2. Pour 8 cups apple juice into a pitcher. Add seasoning packet.
    3. Place pitcher in refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
    4. When ready to serve, pour 4 ounces of juice in a glass and add 4 ounces of seltzer or mineral water. Stir and serve immediately.
