Our collaborative team includes physicians, surgeons, internal medicine specialists, nurses, physical therapists, social workers, dietitians, and respiratory therapists. This 24-bed unit uses evidence based practices to provide the very best care for patients with a wide variety of illnesses and surgical needs. Patients from newborn to geriatric are cared for in this unit for a variety of illness including orthopedic, respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal and genitourinary conditions.
The post-surgical team provides specialized care for patients after a surgery when recovering from orthopedic, general, ENT, urology and podiatry surgeries.
The Surgery Center at Allina Health Faribault Medical Center provides surgical care in a comfortable and confidential environment. Our dedicated staff includes board-certified physicians and doctors of anesthesia, certified nurse anesthetists, registered nurses and certified surgical technicians.
