Inpatient Rehabilitation at Abbott Northwestern Hospital

  • Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's inpatient rehabilitation units provide a comfortable environment, where each patient can receive therapeutic care and practice daily living activities. Patients also benefit from counseling, education, 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care and a daily visit with a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor (physiatrist).

The inpatient rehabilitation unit at Abbott Northwestern Hospital is called West-2300 or W2300. It is located on the second floor of the Courage Kenny Pavilion.

The unit has 38 beds, most of which are semi-private. Patients who have behavioral issues are given priority for available private rooms.
