Perinatal Care at Minnesota Perinatal Physicians

At Minnesota Perinatal Physicians, part of Allina Health, our providers are part of a nationally renowned team that includes maternal fetal medicine specialists, also known as perinatologists. These high-risk pregnancy experts specialize in the care of women whose pregnancies may be complicated by chronic or acute medical conditions or conditions affecting their baby. The team also includes advanced practice nurses, obstetrical nurses, genetic counselors, nurse care coordinators, social workers and specially trained ultrasound sonographers.

Our team of experts sees patients for preconception counseling when there is a concern regarding family history, past pregnancy outcomes or potential genetic and/or medical conditions that might affect a pregnancy. We also provide care for patients at any point during a pregnancy based on concerns noted by your primary care provider/obstetric provider.

Partnering with primary care providers

Minnesota Perinatal Physicians values the role of primary care providers in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies. We emphasize timely and open communication and work in collaboration with a woman and her primary care provider to develop and manage a plan of care throughout the pregnancy. View our brand promise.

Exceptional outcomes

Our close collaboration with maternal specialists at Allina Health and neonatal specialists at Children’s Minnesota to optimize pregnancy care, delivery and the transition from fetal to newborn care, results in some of the best outcomes in the nation for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies.
