    Kim is a CPE Supervisor, CPE Program Coordinator, and Staff Chaplain at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She has her B.A. from Concordia College, Moorhead and M.Div. from Luther Seminary in St. Paul. She did congregational internship in an Anglican church in the suburbs of London, England, and completed CPE residency at Abbott Northwestern. Kim is ordained in the Presbyterian Church, (U.S.A.) and is active in the Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area. She has served as a staff chaplain at United Hospital with a focus on oncology, hospice and mental health for 14 years. She joined the spiritual care staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in 2012. Kim lives in south Minneapolis with her husband and two children where she is active in neighborhood revitalization, house restoration, and community livability.

    Shawn is Manager of Spiritual Care at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and is a CPE supervisor.  His undergraduate degree is in religion and sociology from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN and his Master of Divinity degree is from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN.  He took his first unit of CPE at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS and completed a four unit residency year at Presbyterian/St. Luke's in Denver, Co.  Ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1992, Shawn served Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis from 1992-1997. He has served as a hospice chaplain with Fairview Hospice and as Executive Director of Spiritual Care for Walker Methodist in Minneapolis from 1999-2012. He offered his first unit of CPE at City of Lakes CPE at Walker in 2005. He joined United Hospital in 2013, became the department director in 2017, and moved to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in 2019. He is partnered and has a son and a daughter.

    Mark is a chaplain and CPE supervisor serving United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. His undergraduate degree is in religious studies/youth ministry from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth MN, and he has a Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary. Mark did his CPE residency at The University of Chicago Medical Center and his supervisory training with Advocate Health Care in Chicago. He served at various hospital and hospice venues in Chicago before moving to the Twin Cities. Mark is an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ and began his ministry at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in the fall of 2010, moved to Abbott Northwestern in 2013 and moved to United Hospital in 2019.

    Kyle Vlach, a native Minnesotan, is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church. His education includes a B.S. in Psychology and M.Div. with Post-graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary, and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He completed both his CPE Internship and Residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Kyle is a CPE Supervisor with the Allina Health CPE Center, and serves as Staff Chaplain at United Hospital in St. Paul. Before coming to United, Kyle's experience included 7 years as chaplain and pastoral educator at the Allina Health St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee, MN, and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Kyle lives in St. Paul with his wife and daughter.

    Jeanine serves Allina Hospice as a grief counselor/chaplain, and ACPE Supervisory Candidate. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ, and has been doing ministry in hospital and hospice settings since 1998. Her first CPE residency was at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN, and her second residency was with Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. Jeanine graduated from Carleton College with a BA, (Religion major). Her Master of Divinity degree is from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Jeanine offered her first unit of CPE through Allina Hospice in the fall of 2016. She lives in south Minneapolis, not far from “the creek” and “the Falls”, which her family (wife, son, and daughter) visits frequently by bike, on foot, or by immersion!

    Rev. Allen Dundek 

    Rev. Allen Dundek is a freelance ACPE Certified Educator currently under contract at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. He has recently conducted programs at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Sanford Health in Fargo, and Augustana Care of Minneapolis. Previously he spent 34 years as a Chaplain, CPE Supervisor, and Program Director for HealthEast in St. Paul. He completed his supervisory training at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital and residency at University of Minnesota Hospitals. He is rostered in the Saint Paul Area Synod of the E.L.C.A., and received his M.Div. from Christ Seminary-Seminex. He lives with his wife and a cat in St. Paul and has two adult daughters and one grand-dog.
