Harbor Room Cancer and Chronic Conditions Resource Center

  • Support is a key part of a cancer experience. The Harbor Room is available to anyone affected by cancer. In its attractive and peaceful setting, you and your family can find the support you need both during and after treatment.

Online and printed resources provide the latest information on cancer prevention and screening. Many support groups and classes are offered, including art and yoga. Wigs, hats and prosthetics are also available.

    Support groups

An understanding staff and compassionate team of volunteers are on hand to listen or talk. The room is staffed by trained volunteers and managed by a steering committee of Cambridge Medical Center administrators, chemotherapy nurses, educators, and community members.

Financial aid available for breast cancer patients

The Hope Fund offers emergency financial assistance for people who are actively receiving care for breast cancer. The Hope Fund is a program of the Cambridge Medical Center Foundation and is funded through the Minnesota Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the CureĀ®.
