Zoledronic acid (By injection)

Zoledronic Acid (zoe-le-DRON-ik AS-id)

Treats high blood calcium levels. Also treats bone damage caused by Paget disease, multiple myeloma, and cancers that spread to the bone. Also treats osteoporosis and reduces the risk of hip fractures in certain patients.

PremierPro Rx Zoledronic Acid, Reclast, Zoledronic Acid Novaplus, Zometa

There may be other brand names for this medicine.

When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:

This medicine is not right for everyone. You should not receive it if you had an allergic reaction to zoledronic acid, or if you are pregnant.
