District One Hospital Auxiliary makes donation to Emergency Department

FARIBAULT, Minn. 06/07/2018

District One Hospital Emergency Department (ED) received a generous donation from the District One Hospital Auxiliary.

More than $200 was given to purchase items for the “Mental Health Busy Box, Activities” project. The items are used to help provide entertainment and activity to mental health patients, waiting to be seen in the ED.

Some of the items—which are meant to be therapeutic—include: card game assortments, gratitude journals, stress balls, fidget twisters, coloring books, puzzles, word games and more.
