RIVER FALLS, Wis.
Allina Health's new River Falls Clinic will hold a free of charge open house on September 23, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., to welcome the public to its beautiful new facilities. The grand opening will feature tours of the new clinic, a look inside an ambulance and LifeLink III helicopter, refreshments and healthy, family-friendly fall activities such as apple tastings.
The clinic addresses a shortfall of primary care and specialty services in the surrounding area and provides a full spectrum of streamlined care close to home. The Allina Health River Falls Clinic features hometown care for the whole family using a collaborative and holistic approach.
“Before Allina Health broke ground on the new clinic, we looked to you, our residents and community members, for input on what you wanted in terms of health care services, and we listened,” said Rita Raverty, MD, Lead Physician for the Allina Health River Falls Clinic. “The result is a clinic focused on the full spectrum local care, with primary care and women’s health doctors, an acupuncturist and more services to come.”
“As our patient, you also have access to a broader network of care,” stated David R. Miller, President of River Falls Area Hospital, part of Allina Health. “Our hospital services are steps away, right here on campus, including a newly remodeled family birth center, surgical and imaging departments, an emergency department and a wide variety of rehabilitation and sports medicine services. You’re also able to tap into top specialists and specialty services through the Allina Health system. It’s a truly a convenient care approach for western Wisconsin, for simple and complex health treatment and prevention needs.”
