RIVER FALLS, Wis. 6/5/2017 — Allina Health's newest clinic will open June 19 in River Falls, Wis. Working to address a shortfall of primary care and specialty services in the surrounding area, the clinic was created to provide a full spectrum of streamlined care close to home. The Allina Health River Falls Clinic will focus on hometown care for the whole family using a collaborative and holistic approach.

"Our goal is for residents in River Falls and surrounding communities to receive comprehensive health care close to home and at the same time, give them access to a wealth of specialty services through the broader Allina Health network," said David Miller, president of the River Falls Area Hospital, part of Allina Health. Miller pointed out that electronic medical records are also shared between Allina Health clinics, hospitals and specialty sites, which offers convenience for patients.

The clinic will offer family medicine services, pregnancy and women’s care, and holistic services such as acupuncture through the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. Steps away on the campus, River Falls Area Hospital provides everything from a birth center to cancer care, rehabilitation services and an emergency department. “We are excited to offer our hometown seamlessly integrated care through the Allina network. I've been amazed at Allina Health's commitment to the health care needs of the community of River Falls, and I am thrilled to be a part of a new local care system,” said Rita Raverty, MD, a family medicine provider local to the River Falls community.

Patients are encouraged to call 715-307-6600 or visit to schedule an appointment, and mark their calendars to attend a family-friendly grand opening celebration Sept. 23, 2017.
