Allina Health Regina Hospital welcomes first baby of the New Year

HASTINGS, Minn. 01/02/2017

The first baby of 2017 born at Regina Hospital made his appearance at 6:03 p.m. on January 1, 2017.

David Benjamin Marshall, weighing 8 lbs 1.4 oz and measuring 20.75 inches long, was born in the Birth Center to proud parents Kassey and Aaron Marshall of Prescott. Eleven year-old big brother Carter Perry was also delighted to meet his new family member.

Nurses presented the family with a gift basket in celebration of having the first newborn of the New Year. Congratulations to the Marshall family from everyone at Regina Hospital!

Overlooking the Mississippi River bluffs, Regina Hospital’s birth center offers personalized patient care and spacious, private rooms, with oversized tubs and showers, for all stages of childbirth.
