River Falls Area Hospital president named to Top 50 CEO list

David R. Miller, president of the River Falls Area Hospital, has been named one of the Becker Hospital Review's 50 Critical Access Hospital CEOs to Know.

Under his guidance, River Falls Area Hospital has been recognized nationally for its quality care and patient satisfaction.

"Selection to this list is a reflection of the exceptional, compassionate care our hospital staff provides to our patients every day for which they continue to be noticed nationally," said Miller.

Miller has an extensive career in healthcare administration. He has been president of River Falls Area Hospital since 2008. Prior to joining River Falls Area Hospital, Mr. Miller served 10 years as the vice president of operations for United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., where he led the development of the John Nasseff Neuroscience Institute and the Peter J. King Emergency Center. Before United Hospital, he also served as president of Allina Health Emergency Medical Services and Allina Health Urgent Care Clinics. He received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
