Top joint replacement surgeon, Mark Heller, M.D., joins Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists in St. Paul

Mark Heller, M.D., a widely respected hip and knee replacement surgeon, has joined the Sports & Orthopaedic Specialists practice in its new St. Paul clinic. Mark Heller looks at the camera

Dr. Heller is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has made patient care the focus of his medical career. He specializes in total joint replacement of the hip and knee. He uses minimally invasive techniques in his total joint replacement procedures and contributes to ongoing research involving the latest advances in technology.

"One of the great joys of my work is seeing patients in clinic and witnessing how the quality of their lives has improved with joint replacement," Heller said.

Dr. Heller earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and performed his orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Minnesota Medical Association. He previously served as the Chief of the Department of Orthopaedics at Fairview Riverside Hospital and is a past president of the Twin Cities Orthopaedic Society.
