Allina Health and the YMCA present "Eat, Move, & Live Well" at Unity Hospital

FRIDLEY, Minn. 05/05/2015

People ages 60 and over can offset some of the negative effects of aging with more exercise and better nutrition. "Eat, Move, & Live Well" is a 12-week class for YMCA members and non-members.

Classes at Unity Hospital begin Tuesday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. To register, contact Kim Gemlo-Bush at 763-717-1811 or Kim.Gemlo-Bush@ymcatwincities.org.

Because of a grant from Allina Health, tuition is $30 for individuals and $50 for two people who register together. When grant funds have been used, the regular fees are $140 for YWCA members and $182 for non-members.

The weekly classes are small (eight to fourteen people) and lead by a nationally-certified personal trainer or YMCA lifestyle coach. All supplies and resources are included, and participants can choose to have a bio-marker assessment and one-on-one coaching session.

Classes at additional locations in the northwest metro also begin the week of June 8. Contact the YMCA for more information.
