Cambridge Medical Center offers three free years of health screenings and coaching

MINNEAPOLIS 08/22/2013

Cambridge-area residents are invited to join the free Healthy Communities Partnership. Participants receive free annual health screenings and coaching with wellness specialists for three years. The program is free and open to anyone 18 years of age and older. To get started, the first year's health screenings are offered throughout the fall at Cambridge Medical Center, 701 South Dellwood Street:

People can register for free appointments by calling 763-688-9339. Each appointment takes about 30 minutes and includes blood sugar and cholesterol level checks, body mass index testing and blood pressure and pulse readings. The Healthy Communities Partnership, sponsored by Allina Health's Penny George Institute for Health and Healing with the George Family Foundation, works with communities to get healthy and stay healthy. Cambridge is one of 13 Healthy Communities Partnership communities.
