Allina Health gives $2,500 to United Way St. Croix Valley Food Resource Center

RIVER FALLS, Wis. 11/15/2013

Allina Health has donated $2,500 to support the United Way St. Croix Valley Food Resource Center. The funds were used to purchase a truckload of food for distribution to food shelves throughout Pierce and St. Croix Counties.

The $2,500 contribution was funded through Allina's charitable contributions program, which provides support to organizations working to meet the needs of the communities we serve, and was recommended by a committee of River Falls Area Hospital employees. Several of these employees then volunteered to helped sort and distribute the food purchased.
