Inside Allina Health

What’s it really like to work at Allina Health? Hear it from those who know best—our physicians and advanced practice providers. Meet Dr. Ramsay Peterson.

[MUSIC PLAYING] I'm Ramsay Peterson. I'm a family medicine physician at the Allina Health Richfield Clinic. A career within Allina Health can look like many different things. Many clinicians choose both practicing in the clinic as well as practicing outside of the clinic and leadership structure. One thing that I find really unique about Allina's leadership structure is that we have a physician at every level of the organization, which I really respect.

Allina Health really is focused on primary care. And if you're looking for a career where you're able to sit down with your patients and put all the focus and energy on your patients, this is a very supportive environment. The practice model at Allina Health really is unique. I don't know if anybody else in the country is practicing medicine quite the way we are.

I work with a specialized team of two medical assistants and an RN to provide intense one-on-one care for my patients. At Allina Health, the team really is the essence of delivering good medicine.
