The Penny George Institute for Health and Healing – Unity Hospital was founded in 2010 and offers a wide array of integrative health services.

Our on-campus Penny George Institute Outpatient Clinic offers community members holistic services and classes, ranging from acupuncture to couples massage calasses.

Hospitalized patients at Unity Hospital may have access to services such as massage therapy and aromatherapy to support their healing.

We are part of Allina Health's Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, a national leader and expert in integrative health.

Outpatient services

The Penny George Institute Outpatient Clinic - Unity Hospital offers services, classes and products to help you on your path to better health.

Patients come to us to improve their well-being, address chronic conditions like arthritis, find relief from conditions like chronic pain, and treat the symptoms or side effects of cancer and other disease.

Hospitalized patients

Hospitalized patients at Unity Hospital may be eligible to receive Penny George Institute services for pain relief, anxiety reduction and healing. Highly credentialed integrative health care professionals offer these services at the bedside.

Services during a hospital stay are offered at no charge and are supported in part through charitable gifts from the community. They are provided based on clinical need. Interested patients should talk to their hospital care team.
