Outright gifts

A cash donation is a straightforward way to show your support. Donations are accepted by cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)

Donations can be made online, by mail or in person.

Memorials or Tribute Gifts

Recognize loved one with an honorary or memorial gift, or perhaps for a special occasion.

Everyday Hero

Grateful patients and visitors can donate in honor of an outstanding care giver, hospital employee or volunteer who provided exceptional care or support during a hospital stay or visit. The gift says 'thank you' to someone who made a difference while ensuring Mercy and Unity Hospitals continue to provide excellent care in the future.

Gift can be made using the online giving option and designating the gift using the 'Comments' section. Or, you can call the Foundation.

Securities

Stock gift or other appreciated securities can be transferred to the Mercy & Unity Hospital's Foundation to benefit those we serve. A gift of this type may offer substantial tax advantages, including avoiding capital gains tax while receiving an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities contributed to us.

Planned giving

Legacy gifts can be made through your will, annuity, trusts, insurance, real estate and other options. Visit our planned giving section for more information.

Event sponsorship

The Foundation hosts the Crystal Ball and Golf Classic annually to raise funds for hospital projects and programs. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact the Foundation for more information.

Matching Gifts

Many employers matching gifts made by their employees and encourage this way to “double” or increase the amount of gifts to charities. Please check with your employer’s human resource department to see if your gift can be matched. Sometimes employers will match retiree donations, too.
