What is Camp United?

Camp United 2010

Camp United is United Hospital's summer volunteer program for middle and high school students age 14-17. Six, two-week camp sessions are offered throughout the summer. Camp United participants who volunteer at least 24 hours during the school year receive priority placement in Camp United 2014. Camp United is the perfect solution for busy students who want to impact the community by volunteering.

By attending a two-week session, you will help patients, families and staff at United Hospital by performing various duties in Guest Services, Patient Discharge Service, Gift Shop and Patient Services. During these two weeks you will help people, learn about health care and reap the benefits of volunteering.
