Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive way to take pictures of the body.
A computed tomography (CT) scan is an imaging method that uses x-rays to create cross-sectional pictures of the body.
An angiogram -- also called heart catheterization, cardiac catheterization or cardiac angiography -- is a common test used to evaluate your heart muscles, valves and coronary arteries.
A myelogram is a test done for back pain. This test can help caregivers find out if other problems are causing your back pain, such as broken bones or cancer. Usually this test is not done until other treatments have been tried and have not helped your back pain.
