Our heart and vascular services

Nasseff Heart Center’s comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac services include:

• diagnostic technology —a variety of special tests help diagnose and treat heart problems
• nonsurgical services — several procedures, including angioplasty or stent placement, may be performed to treat a blocked artery
• device implants — procedures such as the placement of a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted devices may be advised to treat an abnormal heartbeat
• surgical procedures — advanced surgical procedures are available for multiple blocked arteries or other serious heart conditions
• pulmonary tests — determine if you have a breathing disorder, if your current medications are appropriate for you and make appropriate changes in your current medical treatment.

St. Paul Heart Clinic physicians join Allina, HealthEast

Effective January 1, 2011, St. Paul Heart Clinic physicians are employed cardiologists at Allina Hospitals & Clinics and HealthEast Care System.

The Nasseff Heart Center, in collaboration with the United Heart & Vascular Clinic and St. Paul Lung Clinic, brings together an expert group of health care professionals including cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, intensivists, interventionalists, electrophysiologists, registered nurses, respiratory care practitioners, echosonographers, radiology technicians, cardiovascular technicians, clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners.
