Kenneth Osowski, Chair
Kenneth Osowski is currently the senior vice president and chief financial officer with First National Bank in River Falls, Wisconsin. Osowski has more than 17 years of experience in financial management and strategic leadership roles in the financial services industry. He holds a master’s degree in business administration, and a bachelor’s of science in business and finance.
Osowski has been active in a variety of business and community organizations, serving in board capacity with the St. Croix Valley United Way (secretary), Institute of Management Accountants, Habitat For Humanity, and the River Falls Community Arts Base. In addition, he has participated in the Financial Managers Society, Hudson Rotary Club and the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team.
Susan Galoff, Co-chair
Sue Galoff is the Director/Health Officer of the Pierce County Public Health Department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Galoff is a board member of the Western Wisconsin Public Health Education Consortium, the Western Wisconsin Public Health Readiness Consortium and is actively involved in the Wisconsin Public Health Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, exercising, playing piano, and relaxing at the lake.
William Wilkening, Treasurer
Bill Wilkening had a 50+ year banking career which started at Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis. He served as president of Northwestern National Bank of Hopkins , President of Northwestern National Bank of Bloomington and President of Citizens Independent Bank in St. Louis Park, MN. He received a standard certificate from the American Institute of Banking and was awarded an academic scholarship.
Bill has been active in a variety of industry and community organizations, serving as president of the Minnesota Bankers Association and a member of the St. Louis Park Rotary. He also served on the boards of Christ the King Lutheran Church and on the West Suburban and Bloomington Chambers of Commerce. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family which includes six grandchildren and his wife Donna of almost 50 years.
Kevin Larson, BSHCA, CNH, Secretary
Kevin Larson is the current CEO/Administrator of Spring Valley Health Care Services, Inc. in Spring Valley, Wisconsin.
Greg Goblirsch, MD, Trustee
Greg Goblirsch, MD has special interests in emergency medicine and chronic disease. He received his medical training from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed a residency at Iowa’s Cedar Rapids Medical Education Program. Dr. Goblirsch is an avid cyclist. He enjoys racing on weekends and has been known to win a few. Traveling with his family is an important part of his leisure time.
Kerith Lijewski, MD, Chief of Staff
Kerith Lijewski, MD has special interests in adolescent medicine and women’s health. She received her medical training at West Virginia’s Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington and a residency at the University of Minnesota-North Memorial Family Practice in Robbinsdale. In her spare time, Dr. Lijewski spends time with her two young children and her husband. She also enjoys exercising, playing cards, and spending time at the lake.
Claire McCarty Kilian, Ph.D., Trustee
Dr. Kilian is a professor at the University of River Falls and has almost 20 years of teaching and consulting experience in the area of management and human resources. Her areas of interest include the development of cases illustrating management practices, issues of sustainability and how to integrate the triple bottom line approach into business education. ethical leadership, negotiations and influence, and systems thinking. Dr. Kilian has been active in international education – teaching in Scotland, Taiwan, Europe, China and taking students to S.E. Asia.
She has published her work in the Labor Law Journal, the Journal of Critical Incidents, Annual Advances in Business Cases, the Business Case Journal, the Journal of Management Development, Training & Development Magazine, and is a co-author of Labor Agreement Negotiations. She has her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a doctorate from Ohio State. Dr. Kilian lives in River Falls taking care of the pets her college-aged sons have left behind -- three cats, one crazy dog, and a snake.
Steven Leitch, trustee
Steve Leitch is the owner of the Leitch Insurance Agency in River Falls, Wisconsin. He moved to River Falls after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management & Insurance from UW-Madison. Steve and is wife, Lori, have found River Falls to be a great place to raise their four sons.
David R. Miller, president
Prior to this, Miller served for ten years as the vice president, operations, for United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., where he led the development of the John Nasseff Neuroscience Institute, the St. Paul Cancer Center and the Peter J. King Emergency Center, along with overseeing multiple patient care departments, support services departments and strategic initiatives. Miller is also a former nationally registered paramedic and served as the president of Allina Health Emergency Medical Services and Allina Health Urgent Care Clinics.
Miller earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He also serves on the board of ADORAY, a hospice and homecare company serving western Wisconsin.
