Local support groups

Kenny Grad School

A free lecture series for patients and their families coping with the effects of a stroke. Each session includes a presentation by experts from Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute on topics related to recovery and daily life after a stroke.

Parkinson's disease education and support groups

The American Parkinson Disease Association Information and Referral Center of Minnesota supports a number of support groups throughout the state.

Alzheimer's disease support groups

The Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association sponsors support groups for caregivers, families and those with early stage Alzheimer's disease or other progressive memory loss disorders. Most groups meet monthly without fee in and around cities in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
