Physical therapy is used to treat people of all ages who have pain or difficulty moving.

Physical therapists are rehabilitation clinicians trained to diagnose, treat and prevent movement dysfunctions and enhance a person's physical well being. They work with people who have:

  • problems involving your joints, bones, muscles and ligaments, like back pain and sports injuries
  • neurological conditions, such as stroke, brain injury or Parkinson's disease
