2012 honorees
Each year, the Phillips Eye Institute Foundation honors an organization or individual that shares its dedication to eye care excellence, education, research or community service. The 2012 honorees are no exception.
2011 Urban Cocktail Party
Nearly 400 guests enjoyed a beautiful evening at Target Field to celebrate the 2011 Urban Cocktail Party on Nov. 5.
The evening's highlights included:
- entertainment with Tim Mahoney and The New Standards
- eyewear boutiques of fabulous readers by Scojo® and glasses by Walman Optical
- vodka tasting – compliments of Phillips Distilling
- a well deserved honoree – the Phillips Family and recognition by Dean Phillips with a toast to 25 years of Phillips Eye Institute
- a week at Dr. Edwin and Jenni Ryan's lake home in Brainerd sold in the Live Auction for $3,750!
- the Fund a Need portion of the live auction, which raised $15,000 for interpreters for the E.Y.E. program.
In total, the event raised more than $115,000 for Phillips Eye Institute.
