Thank you for supporting the 2012 Urban Cocktail Party.
More than 400 people joined us high above Minneapolis at Windows on Minnesota to celebrate the sixth annual Urban Cocktail Party.
Thanks to you, we raised $82,000 to support the Phillips Eye Institute Foundation's initiatives, including Transportation Services, Early Youth Eyecare and the Irving and Janet Shapiro Technology Fund.
Highlights from this special evening included:
- entertainment by Maud Hixson and Rick 'Fingers' Carlson, bringing us back to the sweet era of '40s music
- an exciting live auction, with a four-night get-away at the Anne and Peter Heegaard summer home in Lutsen drawing the highest bid
- gratitude from our honorees, Stan Schweitzer and the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank, represented by Jackie Malling, chief executive officer.
