New Ulm Medical Center physical therapists work with people of all ages who, because of an injury or illness, have had a change or loss in their ability to function physically.

After a thorough evaluation, a physical therapist guides individuals through a wide range of treatments and individual exercises designed to:

  • decrease pain
  • increase strength, flexibility and range of motion
  • prevent re-injury.

Our private physical therapy rooms are used for evaluation and treatment by experienced therapists. Our specially trained staff uses the latest treatment techniques to help patients recover from:

  • total knee or hip surgeries
  • back and neck problems
  • lymphedema
  • sprains and strains of the shoulder, knee, ankle
  • sports injuries
  • stroke
  • urinary incontinence
  • balance conditions
  • fibromyalgia and other myofascial syndromes
  • arthritis.
