A referral from your health care provider is needed before occupational therapy can begin. To schedule an appointment, call 507-217-5173.
New Ulm Medical Center's occupational therapists help children and adults live as independently as possible. Everyday activities often need to be relearned following an illness or injury.
Therapy sessions may include help with eating, reaching for items, grooming and dressing and using adaptive techniques or equipment.
Patients receiving occupational therapy at New Ulm Medical Center can expect an individualized treatment plan, coordinated with other therapies, such as physical or speech therapy if needed. We also provide education to help promote healing and prevent injury.
