Eye Center opens at New Ulm Medical Center
When the New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC) clinic expansion was completed in early January, the team from Dr. Richard Dannenberg’s New Ulm Eye Center & Optical joined board-certified ophthalmologist Natalia Kramarevsky, MD in the new Eye Center in the expanded clinic.
The new Eye Center at New Ulm Medical Center is now open. In addition to board-certified ophthalmologist Natalia Kramarevsky, MD (far right), staff from Dr. Richard Dannenberg’s office joined the new Eye Center including: (l-r) Annette Reker, Kristi Kehren, Denise Sellner, Sherrie Hertling.
Dr. Kramarevsky began seeing patients at NUMC last August. Dr. Kramarevsky also maintains a partnership with Phillips Eye Institute, making use of their expertise and resources when necessary.
Dr. Kramarevsky earned her medical degree at the University of Washington Medical School. She completed her internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota in 2003. She completed a one-year fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, surface disease and refractive surgery in 2008.
When Dr. Dannenberg went into retirement at the end of 2013, NUMC completed the purchase of his practice, including equipment and patient records. Several staff from his office also transferred to NUMC, including Optician Sherrie Hertling, Ophthalmic Assistant Denise Sellner, Ophthalmic Assistant Annette Reker, Ophthalmic Assistant Kris Kehren and Ophthalmic Assistant Kathy Sellner. Combined, the team has more than 60 years of experience helping patients with their eye care needs.
