Summer/Fall Healing Arts Reception to be held July 24 at Owatonna Hospital
OWATONNA, Minn. 07/19/2012--The community is invited to a special Owatonna Hospital Healing Arts Program reception where you can meet the artists Tuesday, July 24 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Owatonna Hospital, 2250 NW 26th Street.
This is the ninth installation of the Healing Arts Program series at Owatonna Hospital. The Healing Arts Program is a collaboration between Owatonna Hospital and the Owatonna Arts Center to bring the visual arts, natural light, images and elements of nature to lessen stress and promote healing while in the Hospital. The new artwork is on view now through the end of October.
The works of Barbara Kinnick, collage; Kristi Swee Kuder, wire mesh; Richard Mittelstadt, painting; Jimmy Reagan, painting; and Doug Ruth, photography, will be on display. This exhibit is underwritten by the Owatonna Hospital Foundation. The Owatonna Arts Center serves as the curator for this series.
