Road closure Dec. 14-16, free valet
Coon Rapids Boulevard will be closed starting at 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16 in front of Mercy Hospital, between Dakotah and Blackfoot. Please watch for detour signs and expect some delays. Crews will be installing a new skyway which will connect the hospital to the new Mercy Specialty Center. In the event of bad weather, the road closure will be postponed. Updates are posted on electronic message boards at both ends of the closure.
Please note that free valet parking and assistance is offered on the east side of the hospital Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Your patience is appreciated.
New surgery suite coming to Mercy Hospital Construction has begun on a hybrid operating room that will allow heart care specialists at Mercy Hospital to diagnose and immediately treat patients in one convenient visit. The suite brings together doctors who will perform heart catheterization laboratory procedures that are minimally invasive, as well as traditional open surgical procedures.
